Retail Manager (part-time)

Employer:
Fulham Palace Trust
Fulham Palace is a truly remarkable place. For centuries, this Grade I Listed building situated in extensive grounds by the River Thames was the country residence of the Bishops of London. The Palace is now managed by the Fulham Palace Trust, which is inspired by a vision to restore our nationally significant historic buildings and gardens to their original beauty and to provide outstanding facilities for the local community and visitors from farther afield.

Fulham Palace Trust is due to complete a major restoration project in May 2019. This will transform the gardens and Tudor quadrangle to their former glory and develop a new exhibition space to tell the fascinating stories of the Palace over its 10,000 year history. Alongside the capital works we have a lively activity programme, including volunteering, community archaeology and events for families and young people. The Palace is also a sought after venue for private events and contains a number of commercial office suites. As part of this project we will be launching a new shop, located near to the main entrance of the Palace.

As Retail Manager you will be a proactive individual with good organisational skills and entrepreneurial flair. You will take a pride in developing a destination retail outlet at the Palace with relevant high quality merchandise which will build a sustainable income generation stream and attract visitors and add to the high quality visitor experience.
