You will learn how to reach out to the making communities and how to support smaller suppliers in bringing product to market. Insight into strategies and struggles will be given and there will be guidance on how to best promote your supplier stories once in store. This masterclass will cover in detail the why and how to develop both Local and Craft ranges that support your unique stories and give your customers reason to return.

Genevieve Sioka is the Artisan & Craft buyer for the National Trust. She mentors makers and partners with organisations such as the Crafts Council, Trust New Arts, the Heritage Craft Association and New Designers. Genevieve is a retail professional with extensive experience in developing cultural enterprise activities. She is regularly invited to speak on a national stage about ‘buying craft’ and loves nothing more than to bring craft to a wider audience whilst supporting emerging makers.
