After years of planning, fundraising and building, the Mary Rose Museum opened to the public on 31st May 2013. It reunited the hull and artefacts for the first time since the excavation and recovery over 30 years ago. Packed with fascinating artefacts and plenty to enjoy, the museum is a wonderful day out, giving people the chance to immerse themselves in the environment of a Tudor warship.
The Mary Rose Museum has since won over 20 awards for excellence in design, exhibition, conservation, visitor experience along with education and innovation. The Mary Rose Museum aims to not only be aworld-class visitor experience, but also an invaluable scientific and educational resource.

The event will run from 10am until 4pm and feature talks from many of the commercial team here including Visitor Experience, Events & Hospitality, Retail & Online presence along with an exciting look behind the scenes of the awe inspiring exhibition.
