Louise Kirby, Director of Operations & People at The Deep, Hull has been selected to attend and speak at MSA Forward in San Diego, representing the Association for Cultural Enterprises as part of our first international exchange with the Museum Store Association (MSA).
Bradley Platz, Assistant Director of eCommerce at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, is our first International Exchange Programme candidate, a new partnership between the Association for Cultural Enterprises in the UK and Museum Store Association in the US. Bradley will be speaking at the ACE2019 Conference in Brighton, while our UK candidate Louise Kirby, Director of Operations & People at The Deep, will be speaking at MSA Forward 2019.
The Museum Prize Trust (MPT) was established in 2001 as a charitable not-for-profit company to create a major annual prize for UK museums and galleries. Initially sponsored by the Gulbenkian Foundation, in 2007 the sponsorship was assumed by the Art Fund who now run the prize as the Museum of the Year. This remains the largest cash prize for museums in the UK.
